New Brisbane

Following a massive hiatus, New Brisbane is back in business and better than ever! What makes it so great, you ask? Why me, of course - Ross, your new chief editor. I’ve been living in Brisbane for the last 11 months (since Feb 08) and have spent that time finding the best that Brisbane has to offer when it comes to bars, clubs, restaurants and cafes - and now, I want to share it with the world. So stay tuned, because the next few months are going to see some exciting new reviews come up on the site - including some new Lifestyle reviews.

Right now what we’re after is a couple more writers to help us track down the best places to be in Brisbane - a lot’s changed since the site last had regular writers and we’re keen to add reviews for some of the newer venues about town. You won’t get paid anything, but you will get to express your opinion to the world in a very indisputable fashion and from time to time you might get invited to a cool VIP event. If you’re keen, head on over to our Contact Us page and let us know what you’re about.

We’re also looking for bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes and other venues in Brisbane who are keen to get their name out there by having one of our reviewers come visit you. We’re especially keen to add reviews to our upcoming ‘lifestyle’ section, so if you’re a local stylist, fashion designer/store, tourism provider or other local lifestyle-related business, then let us know who you are. If we think people can get something out of your business, we will broadcast it to the world. All you have to do is jump over and fill out the form on our Get Reviewed page.
