I took some friends to Ahmets for dinner a few months ago and I'll never go there again.
We had a table of 11 (including a few young children) yet still managed to be effectively ignored by waitstaff throughout the entire evening. We had to wait over half an hour for drinks and the food was even slower coming out. (Any reasonable person would think that children crying because they were thirsty and hungry might have been sufficient prompting for service???).
The food was ok when it eventually came out, but despite being told it was being cooked fresh, we could see it waiting in a bain marie and the mixed grill had cold and tough by the time we finally got it.
We raised our concerns with the manager several times and were treated quite rudely. I'm usually one to give second chances, but not in the case of Ahmets.
